2gramcam came up in Memphis, Tennessee, but he doesn't sound like the city's usual rap. Memphis shaped who he is more than how he raps.
He didn't make his first song until 24, after leaving home, when a friend's friend pulled up beats in a small studio in Mississippi. Eazy-E was his favorite rapper growing up.
From Mississippi he moved to Los Angeles, and that's where the music really grew. LA is where he sharpened his sound and put in the most work.
Since then he's put out more than 100 songs, worked with UnoTheActivist and Warhol, and landed on Lyrical Lemonade. Independent, based in Atlanta.
